Terms and conditions - Updated 21st October 2025
This is an agreement which sets out the terms and conditions that will govern the relationship between us, Blythwood Theatre and you the Parent/Guardian. It is a legally binding agreement. Please read carefully as these rules enable us at Blythwood Theatre to maintain high standards and the safety of our students and staff.
Payment:
Payment due date: Payment should be made prior to class term starting. Unless prior arrangement has been made.
Payment Method: Payment is made via Stripe, BACS or cash at venue.
Late Fees: A late fee may be charged for payment made after due date, Unless prior arrangement has been made.
Suspension: The school may suspend access to class if invoices remain unpaid.
Attendance and refunds:
Absence: Generally, you are expected to pay for classes and no refund given for missed classes unless there is a long term illness or injury. Refunds should be discussed with Blythwood Theatre.
Trial sessions: Trial sessions are free. If the child then joins, the remainder of the term must be paid in full. Unless by prior arrangement.
Discretionary refunds: Some refunds are at the discretion of Blythwood Theatre.
Stripe and Class for Kids, our finance and booking third party systems take a processing, so we cannot refund the external processing fees.
Notice:
Two weeks notice is require if you or your child wishes to leave Blythwood Theatre. This must be submitted in writing or email. You will be required to pay for the notice period.
Late fee payments will be charged as well as an admin charge for cancelling without serving the required notice.
Behaviour:
Blythwood Theatre has the right to remove any student from class if the student is putting the health and safety of other students or staff at risk. We reserve the right in this instance, to permanently exclude students.
We will not tolerate rudeness, bullying, deemed harassment, abuse or inappropriate behaviour or inappropriate language from students, parents or guests. Such actions will result in exclusion from Blythwood Theatre.
Attendance and Lateness
If your child is unable to attend class, you must try to let us know on 07463 362262/info@blythwoodtheatre.com. Missed classes will not be reimbursed. In the event of Blythwood Theatre cancelling classes, we will endeavour to reschedule.
Please arrive on time for class. Consistent lateness will be escalated and discussion with parent.
Parents are not permitted to sit in or attend classes.
All students will be supervised at all times at Blythwood Theatre, however deliberate damage or destroying of property by students will result in an invoice for the repair being issued.
Photographs:
Blythwood Theatre reserves the right to use photographs of any individual or group or films of your child for press or promotional material purposes. If you are unhappy with this policy, you must specify on sign up when requested and opt of out no photo consent, You can withdraw consent at any time by logging in to your parent account where you can amend these consent settings.
